The largest pumpkin weighed 1810.5 pounds (823 kg). This gargantuan pumpkin entered the history books on October 9, 2010 at the Stillwater Harvestfest and Giant Pumpkin Weigh-off in Stillwater, Minnesota, USA.

It was grown by Chris Stevens. His monster pumpkin beat the previous record holder by 85.5 pounds.

Note: Based on the average weight for male and females in the United States found by the National Center for Health Statistics the pumpkin's weight was equivalent to five male and female couples.
