Do sharks blink?
Nope. Never try to stare down a shark!
They have upper and lower eyelids but they don't use them.
Most sharks have a third eyelid that they draw across the eye to protect it when they are biting. This is called a nictitating membrane. Cats have nictitating membranes also. Bet you didn't know that Jaws and your little pet Fluffy had something in common.
